Update (September 2nd, 2024 10:25pm): 99.1% recovered 👀 which sounds great but the last 1% is taking forever. It could be done tomorrow, it could be a week or more. I'll update again when it's complete. The earliest it will be back in the server will be Septeber 8th, IF it's complete by then. Otherwise it'll be whenever it finishes.
Update (August 28th, 2024 8:40pm): I have access to the drives and am currently working on recovery, and it's about 60% complete. I expect to have it finished by next week. Once the recovery is done, I'll purchase additional drives and set up RAID for redundancy to prevent this from happening again.
Update (August 17th, 2024 5:29pm): I am unable to recover the failing drive remotely. I've taken it offline and restarted the plex server for now. I will attempt a recovery the next time I am home. I'm re-downloading as much as possible, starting with Movies, sorted by release date in decending order. If there is something specifc (Movie or TV show) you want me to prioritize, reach out and let me know. I will bring Ombi back online once the download queue is settled.
Update (August 16th, 2024 8:08pm): One of the drives is failing. I'm attempting to restore it to a backup drive but it may be a while. I may be able to restore Plex with a reduced Library this weekend.
I'm working on restoring it as soon as possible. I don't have access to the server at the moment, but barring any hardware issues, I will hopefully have it online in the next day or so. Sorry for the inconvenience.
